The Storefront Theatre needed a new rebrand which, of course, included a new re-designed website. We were contacted to propose a concept. The main objective of the website was to, first be informative, and second, to be the central location for purchasing tickets.

Information

We felt that the website was the perfect arena to house all the elements of the various productions including the actors behind them. We believed that if guests were smitten by the performances then they would want to learn more about the actors. So, we created a page dedicated to the actors bios, as well as a photo. The actors page, called “The Company” showcases the 40 actors and actresses that grace the stage each season.

Shows

Each season, the Storefront Theatre hosts 5 incredibly delightful shows with 2 performances, Saturday evening and a Sunday afternoon per show. It also, of course, made sense to dedicate a page to each show to allow regular audience members and interested visitors to read about each show as well as purchase tickets. As a show completes its performance it is automatically removed from the rotation. The next show is highlighted and a countdown timer displays to show the number of days left until the show premieres.

A reminder email blast is sent to the Storefront Theatre’s newsletter list bi-monthly to remind and informed the recipients of the upcoming show. This allows the Storefront Theatre to respectfully be kept in mind for regular audience members.
