Everyone loves parades; particularly, small-town parades. Waxhaw, North Carolina is one of those small towns, just outside of Charlotte, North Carolina that people love. However, there is absolutely no reason a small town should have small town design. Especially, in this day and age.
The town of Waxhaw was open to a change in look from their previous iterations for their advertisements and print material. We proposed a iconic and traditionally patriotic prose to replace the previous DIY design. This new look used the patriotic red, white and blue colors and one additional color to use as a frame.
Waxhaw is a friendly, vibrant prosperous town where history and creativity build an enduring, safe and healthy community for people of all ages to live, learn, work, play or grow a business.
Once we settled on the more grounded design we created a template to which all the other forms of marketing followed. This simplified everything while making it easier for other members of the various committees to work with.
